LOVE and OTHER DRUGS PLOT: Maggie (Hathaway) is an alluring free spirit who won’t let anyone - or anything - tie her down. But she meets her match in Jamie (Gyllenhaal), whose relentless and nearly infallible charm serve him well with the ladies and in the cutthroat world of pharmaceutical sales. Maggie and Jamie’s evolving relationship takes them both by surprise, as they find themselves under the influence of the ultimate drug: love. “Sometimes the thing you most want doesn’t happen, sometimes the thing you never expect happen does; like giving up my job, Chicago and everything and deciding to stay, apply to med school. I don’t know - you meet thousands of people and none of them really touch you and then you meet one person and your life us changed…forever.” I just finished watching this movie, it was good and best when the movie near the end, when Jamie discover that she needs Maggie more than everything, the alternate universe (my tears just start to fall). The movie taught you how to laugh, to care, to cry, to fight and of course to love.
